Cautionary Tale: Double & Triple Check When Booking

/ Comments Off on Cautionary Tale: Double & Triple Check When Booking

In this Travel Tip Tuesday we discuss what NOT to do when booking your vacation! Meggan talks about meeting a great Canadian couple while in Cuba, who were there for 7 days, only to learn on day 5, when they were locked out of the room that they had in fact only booked a 5-day vacation! This is a valuable lesson that everyone should heed – double and triple check your reservations before hitting the BOOK button, especially on trips such as all-inclusive vacations and flights! Meggan and Peter obsessively check the calendar 4-5 times before someone eventually just has to say – BOOK IT ALREADY! Better safe than sorry!

Our first TTT!  We are so excited to add these fun, short episodes to our repertoire! We both abide by this tip and we wanted to bring this to the masses. When travelling, we all usually have a carry-on and it takes no time to pack a wee change of clothes in there because as we all know about life – you just never know.  If you don’t end up  needing it great but if you do, you will be so grateful you planned ahead! This change of clothes could look different based on your destination such as just a bathing suit if you are travelling somewhere warm or a…
