Using data can be very expensive while travelling, depending on your carrier and your plan. eSIMs are relatively new and taking the travel world by storm. Imagine no longer needing to change out your cell phone’s SIM card for a travel SIM card at your arrival airport? Imagine just downloading it in advance, paying MUCH less than your carrier would charge per day and just simply turning it on when you arrive at your destination? It is possible! There are upsides and downsides and research to be done but don’t sleep on eSIMs, they can save you both time and money!
