Always Pack This In Your Carry On
Our first TTT! We are so excited to add these fun, short episodes in our repetoire!
We both abide by this tip and we wanted to bring this to the masses.
When travelling, we all usually have a carry-on and it takes no time to pack a wee change of clothes in there because as we all know about life – you just never know. If you don’t end up needing it great but if you do, you will be so grateful you planned ahead!
This change of clothes could look different based on your destination such as just a bathing suit if you are travelling somewhere warm or a warm sweater and a change of undergarments if heading somewhere cold!
Overall, the point of this Travel Tip was to be prepared!

Hey, everyone. Welcome to our very first ever travel tip Tuesday. So we'll be releasing these mini bonus FMC episodes every second week. They're meant to be just like quick tips that you can use, while you're traveling.
So this week, my tip is always pack underwear in your Carry-on so, yes, I have to credit my step-mom for this one. She was a travel agent. She traveled often and she told me to always pack underwear in your carry on so that if your luggage gets lost, you at least have your own. Underwear it's important. It is important.
So I mean, odds are slim that you'll actually lose your luggage. But I always feel better knowing that I at least have underwear in my carry on, and I usually do pack at least one change of clothes as well. In my carry on, I will say that my step-mom actually took this. One step further. And when her and my dad packed their suitcases, they mixed their clothes, so, oh, wow.
So that if one suitcase got lost, they did have half of each clothes. , it's clever. I've never heard that before. That's clever. I, and I thought, you know, maybe she's a little crazy. Um, I, it's kinda brilliant and I mean, it's not like you lose your luggage all the time. I've knock on wood. Never lost my luggage.
One time we thought Iceland air lost our luggage. We got back to Halifax. We sit there and we waited and we waited and it came. Around. And then our luggage wasn't there and then the thing stopped and we're like, oh, and there was like 15 people standing there. Oh, wow. Oh my God. So we all, like, of course we got in, it was like after midnight.
Cause you leave, you know, Iceland late. And do we were all like, oh God, I guess we'll go over to the desk and are all like schlepping over to the desk. And you hear that our earnest,
somebody found a rack of luggage outside, but oh no, this was supposed to be. So is this something you do, Megan, do you usually pack maybe some underwear or a change of clothes in your carry on a hundred percent? Yep. I always feel like it's my own little secret. Do you have bloomers in your bag?
Cause all I do, that's what I tell people, but yeah, like I just feel more secure. Like again, like you knock on wood and I feel like it will happen. We traveled. Or we used to, um, and you have to feel like it's going to happen to you sooner or later. It happens to regular everyday people all the time. So yes, I do usually a change of clothes and one, pair of undies, just to be safe.
So I don't know, just brings a certain level of comfort I find, but I think this whole like half and half thing, that's a great idea. Like brilliant. I mean, I think it is great until you get to the place you are in your life. Searching for two luggage to look for the thing that you're looking, will I be like, okay, let's switch it back now.
And then on the way home, I don't care. Like whatever, just shove it in. I don't care when I'm packing for home. I'm like, just get in there. So sad. So yes, that is our tip. Dear listeners and Watchers, because it's on our YouTube to you. Hi people, um, uh, pack underwear. And or a change and be married and don't worry.
Be happy. Nope, exactly Bye!
