Having your devices charged before a long flight is a priority, but sometimes life happens, and you don’t get a chance! A lot of airlines now have plugs in the back of each chair for ease of use; however, not all and a good alternative has been battery charging power banks. Due to some recent issues, some airlines have banned them as they can spark and cause fire, which no one wants at 30,000 feet. The thrill of a traveller when they see their luggage on the baggage carousel is euphoric, knowing you will have your stuff, but also that you don’t have to go through the hassle of getting compensation and possibly being without your belongings during your travels. Cross-packing is a great idea to help minimize this fear! Cross-packing comes into play when you are travelling with more than two bags, and each person packs some of their stuff in each other’s bag so that if someone’s luggage is lost, you won’t be without all of your things.
